About Me
Hi, I’m Stuart, a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). Since I started instructing in 2023, I’ve been committed to helping learners become safe, confident and responsible drivers. What began as an interest soon grew into a genuine passion for teaching, personal development and raising the standard of driving on our roads.
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I always aim to create a relaxed, encouraging learning environment where confidence can grow naturally.
Before becoming an instructor, I spent many years working as a Facilities & Fleet Manager, overseeing everything from day-to-day vehicle operations to long-term fleet strategy. This included managing the transition to a fully electric and hybrid fleet, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of vehicles and the latest in-car technologies. From traditional petrol and diesel vehicles to advanced EVs, I’ve worked with them all — and that technical understanding helps me explain modern driving features clearly and confidently to my learners.

Prior to fleet management, I worked in traffic management, where I experienced every type of driving behaviour on the roads. Seeing how road users interact, how situations develop and how easily mistakes can lead to incidents shaped my belief that high-quality driver training is essential. It’s one of the key reasons I chose to become an instructor.
To support my teaching, I completed the Level 3 Award in Education & Training, ensuring each lesson is structured, adaptable and based on effective teaching principles. Whether someone is nervous, a complete beginner, or building on previous experience, I tailor my lessons to suit their learning style.
Whether you’re just starting out, rebuilding confidence or preparing for your test, my goal is simple:
To help you become a skilled, confident and safety-focused driver for life.
