Key Terms & Conditions

  • Payment Deadlines (Section 2)

    • All lessons must be paid for at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations (Section 5)

    • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson. Any cancellation made with less notice may still be charged in full.

  • Liability (Section 7)

    • The instructor is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by events outside their control.

1. Eligibility to Take Lessons

To undertake driving lessons, you must:

 

  • Be aged 17 or over (or 16 if receiving the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment).

  • Hold a valid driving licence for use in the United Kingdom (provisional or full).

 

You are responsible for providing proof of a valid driving licence before your first lesson. Failure to do so may result in the lesson being cancelled and the full fee being charged.

 

2. Paying for Lessons

Prepayment Methods

Lessons can be paid for in advance via:

 

  • Bank transfer

  • Learner App

  • Credit or debit card (if accepted by the instructor)

  • Secure payment link (where applicable)

 

Prepaid Lesson Terms

  • Funds are securely held and only allocated once lessons are delivered.

  • Missed lessons without required notice may result in the full fee being retained.

  • All concerns regarding payments must be raised promptly.

  • You are liable for any unpaid balances for lessons already delivered.

  • Any interest accrued on held funds is not payable to you.

 

Lesson Payment Deadline

All lessons must be paid for at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Unpaid lessons may be cancelled and reallocated.

 

Payments Made by Third Parties

If someone pays on your behalf, it will be treated as a payment by you. Refunds or lesson access will not be given to the payer unless you give written permission.

 

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are available for unused pre-paid lessons under the following conditions:

 

  • Only for payments made directly to the instructor or school.

  • Refunded to the original payment method where possible.

  • If the original method is no longer valid, identity verification may be required.

  • Prepaid lessons must be used within six months of payment. After that, funds will become non-refundable.

  • Refund requests must be made in writing to your instructor.

  • Private or third-party payment arrangements are not covered by this refund policy.

 

4. Redeeming Prepaid Lessons

  • Lesson times, locations, and durations are subject to mutual agreement.

  • You must disclose any legal, medical, or licensing issues that affect your ability to drive.

  • Instructor availability is not guaranteed but will be accommodated where possible.

  • Prepaid rates are fixed at the time of purchase. Later bookings may reflect updated rates.

 

5. Cancellations & Rearrangements

  • At least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling any lesson.

  • Short-notice cancellations may result in the full lesson fee being charged.

  • Repeated short-notice cancellations may lead to refusal of further lessons.

 

6. Transferring Prepaid Lessons

Prepaid lessons are non-transferable and must only be used by the named learner. Lessons may not be sold, gifted, or assigned to another person.

 

7. Liability

Neither your instructor nor the driving school will be liable for:

 

  • Loss or damage not resulting from a breach of legal duty

  • Unforeseeable losses

  • Loss resulting from your negligence or failure to follow instructions

  • Events beyond our control (e.g. adverse weather, traffic, emergencies)

 

We accept no responsibility for business-related losses, such as:

 

  • Missed income

  • Lost opportunities

  • Business interruption

 

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

 

8. Use of Personal Data

Your personal data may be used for:

 

  • Identity verification and managing your bookings

  • Preventing fraud and recovering unpaid fees

  • Monitoring service quality

  • Sending information about services/offers of legitimate interest

  • Legal or regulatory compliance (including sharing information with authorities if necessary)
